Location: 115 B East Georgetown Street, Crystal Springs, MS 

Mondays: Parenting, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm (1st & 3rd Mondays of the month)

Tuesdays: Financial Literacy, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Anger Management, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Youth Development Class, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Wednesdays: Parenting, 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm 

Youth Development 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm 

Thursdays: Workforce, 9:00 am - 10:00 am 

Fridays: Education/NLRO, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Simpson County

Simpson County Technical Violation Center

Every other Monday: Life Skills, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

 

Simpson County DHS Office

Thursdays: Workforce Training, 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Parenting, 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm 

Anger Management, 2:30 - 4:00 pm 

Parenting – Open to parents of children of all ages. Class topics include positive discipline, co-parenting, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, communicating with kids, kids and divorce, keeping kids healthy, kids and school, and what to expect as kids grow.

Fatherhood – Dedicated to fathers, this class covers parenting topics (positive discipline, co-parenting, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, communicating with kids, kids and divorce, keeping kids healthy, kids and school, and what to expect as kids grow), but also includes resume building and job search components so that men are empowered to provide emotionally and financially for their families.

Life Skills – Practical, module-based lessons for relationships, financial literacy, time-management, nutrition, and health. Multiple sessions.

Workforce and Job Readiness - Provides participants with a focused career assessment that evaluates core workplace skills and interest and provides job seekers with timely and relevant information about locally-present jobs and career pathways that match their strengths and interests.
